About Me
Hello!
I grew up in Northern California, in a small town called Weaverville. It hosts a population of 3,000 people and I swear it has twice as many deer. Its quaint atmosphere allowed me to explore the harmony between beauty and photography.
After I graduated high school, I decided the California skies were not big enough and moved to Missoula, Montana to attend Rocky Mountain School of Photography. For months, I spent everyday developing my photography skills. Well, that’s a bit of an exaggeration… I spent plenty of time hiking, floating the river, and biking across the rolling landscape. Just a few of my favorite outdoor activities.
After Missoula, I developed my photography business in Atlanta, Georgia and explored the southern lifestyle. Have you heard of pimento cheese? I hadn't until living in the south. Mayonnaise and cheddar cheese, yumm! Now, I reside in Chicago, Illinois and am adapting to the harsh winters. Luckily, it is a beautiful and expansive city and there is still plenty to do in the cold weather.

Favorite food?
Avocado toast, of course! Besides that, I love a good southern biscuit with rich and creamy butter or a preserve. Living in the south has definitely allowed me to grow my palate, but it did not remove my California roots.
Favorite desert?
Who in the world has a favorite dessert?! They are all delicous! Here are a few of my favorites...
-Coconut Tres Leches
-Macaroons (Not to be confused with macarons)
-Carrot Cake
-GELATO!
You want to pay me in one of these? Ok! Send me a message!
What do I do after a long day?
I brew a chamomile tea or pour a nice glass of whiskey. I guess it depends on how stressful the day was. Ha!
Embarrassing Memory?
At the time, I was not embarrassed, but looking back on my "talent show days", I can definitely emit a cringe!
One time in elementary school, I decided to do my own little rendition of "Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me." This was followed by me swinging my leg up into the air, then dropping onto the floor into the splits. All of the guys went "Oohhhh!" and I thought they were so impressed. I have since learned otherwise...
Send me a message and tell me about one of your embarrassing memories. We will see whose is better!
How many countries have I been to?
I have been to nine different countries and I would visit all of them again.
My favorite country so far has been the Netherlands. One year, I went on a 10 day solo vacation to Amsterdam and I quickly fell in love with the city and the country! I rode a bike to a castle one day. The trail winded through pastures full of cows and sheep. Some were directly on the trail-talk about a traffic jam! I also fell in love with the canalways.
Fun fact: Amsterdam has more canals than Venice!
